Sky below your feet

remind yourself
to look down at
the sky below your feet

reflects a life
distorted and lovely.

Monet's Garden is surreal.
There were so many people everywhere, the only direction I was drawn to was downwards, where
rippled reflections are less honest but more beautiful.

A really special place. It's no wonder Monet found joy in such a simple subject.

  1. Beautiful post - stunning photos and lovely words. We often talk about how much we forget to look up but it's true sometimes we forget to look down as well.

    1. Thanks Rae! It's true- many times the most interesting things aren't straight ahead.
