Crystalized

Excuse my nails; they are perpetually coated with chipped polish. I bought this ring almost one year ago from the online store shop bop and upon tearing open the package in the mail, realized just how huge and frankly engagement- esque the ring was. So I kept it in its box, occasionally admiring it, but never wearing it for a day out. Well, this winter, on my last day in Yosemite I finally gave it a breather and lo and behold, it turned out a lot less obnoxious than I thought it would.

Surrounded by powdery white snow and ice covered branches, (and avoidance of the ring finger) the crystal no longer screamed fiancé quite as much.
