Pinch me, is this real?

Which interior set do you like the best? Can I take the easy way out and say that in small doses they all add up to my dream location? Or no wait - maybe I could live in each setting for a quarter of my life. I absolutely love that DVF's house is located in the meatpacking district. The sense of grit-meets-luxury is what makes NYC so appealing in my opinion! 

On a more solemn note, a few tragic yet impacting events have occurred within a short span of two weeks that posting about these things sometimes feels so frivolous. But it makes me a little happier to share these images, and i suppose that's all that really matters. If anything, the passing of two school mates has taught me how little time we have to make an impact in our lives. Their souls have left a tremendous amount of joy to so many, and that is truly a beautiful thing. While we still have the chance we need to live each day as positively as possible. Just something I try to remind myself of constantly.

  2. I love the interior of the first but looking at the setting and exterior of DVF's house is amazing. I'm sorry to hear about your school mates. It's always difficult when people pass, but even more when they're so young.

  5. absolutely gorgeous images, very inspiring. don't know which ones I like the most, i love them ALL! but i really love the morrocan one and the DVF one, love colors and prints. wish my house looked like this! :)

  12. wow, honestly i really can't pick one best set. all of them are taking my breath away! but one thing for sure, i swear when i have my own home, it has got to have french windows. it's not very common to have french windows here where i live, i think. i need to have them!

  21. I'm terribly sorry to hear about the passing of friends. That's so tragic to hear. =(

    I hope the inspiration you see in the interior photos give you some warmth during a painful period of your life. =) I am in awe of all of them and it's difficult to choose one favorite. Though, I do admire DVF a lot! =)
